Hi Everyone,
Can anyone recommend a spa in HB that gives awesome massages that aren't too expensive and in private rooms? My BFF is turning 50 on Saturday and I would...

I have been to Bella Vie twice and they enjoyed it both times. Not best massage I received but it was inexpensive and I felt relaxed. And they have a groupon available. https://www.groupon.com/deals/bella-vie-beauty-center-3

Looking to send a friend to a good spa for a treat I have a friend living in the Santa Monica area who has been having a rough summer. She's never been to a spa and I...

I've sent my wife to both Burke Williams (4 th & Santa Monica) and Exhale (@the Fairmont). Both are great. I don't remember how I booked her appointment at Exhale, but I know booked appointments over the phone at Burke Williams. If she's never been, explain to her she should stay & use the facilities before and/or after the massage. In fact, bring a book. It's a terrific way to relax. I wouldn't choose the spa at Equinox. I went to the gym there for a few years. It's not a bad spa, but it lacks the "special" feel you get at Burke Williams.

[Glen Ivy Hot Springs in Corona, CA.](http://www.glenivy.com/springs/) I really did not want to go to a spa, but I was happy I went... says a lot. It's kind of far so it would be a whole day thing. *I think you get in free on your birthday, also.*
stoooops replied:
Skip the Burke Williams (paying for the name brand) and the Equinox (too basic) Try a Korean spa like WiSpa, wispausa.com
CantBuyABucket replied:
Check out the Massage Garage on Main St. in Culver City, and then head to BottleRock and sample all the wines.
MamaSteele replied:
I don't know many spas, but I know Equinox has a spa and non-members can purchase treatments. Perhaps check out the one in Santa Monica and see if you're able to purchase over the phone! http://www.equinox.com/
Can I get a recommendation for a nail salon in South East HB, where the ladies might not speak in the native tongue with each other all the time so that they can...
Leslie N. replied:
I always go to https://www.facebook.com/624881214354847 B9 Salon and Spa Adams north of beach blvd and just south of Alabama street. It shares a parking lot with a pizza place, munchies, and a bar and laundromat so parking can sometimes be an issue but I've never had a serious problem.
Stephanie H. replied:
I like Happy Nails at Bella Terra. They have a policy on chatter. They always let me soak a while before my pedi too. I park in the structure & never have a parking prob

There is an amazing nail/hair salon on Warner and Goldenwest near Big Lots. I sometimes go and get my haircut, eye brows waxed and pedicure for less than $30!! :) https://www.yelp.com/biz/california-hair-and-nail-salon-huntington-beach?utm_campaign=search_listing&utm_medium=partnership&utm_source=yahoo

My favorite is Pink Petals on beach and Garfield. It's a little pricy but their customer service is great, it's very clean, and their manager is always there monitoring and making sure everyone is happy.
Can anyone recommend a good local mobile pet groomer? Our 11 year old Golden Retriever is getting to old to spend all day at the doggie spa.
Thanks in advance!

I'd call the David Salon in Costa Mesa. I've been there when they've done the Locks of Love program. I believe they don't charge.
