Dr. Shapiro in HB on Main Street, Gentle Dental. I'm not sure how he is with kids but, he's an awesome dentist and seems to be caring and kind. He doesn't try to upsell you on a bunch of work that isn't necessary.

Kids dentistry is a specialty. You need the best to avoid fear in the child that may last a lifetime. PAUL REGGIARDO is great.

Dr Brian is the son. I've been seeing him since he became a dentist. $60 Partial x-ray and cleaning, $100 full X-ray and cleaning, without insurance!

I like Coastal kids in Newport. We go to Dr Baron, she's amazing. We also go to Newport Children's Dentist in Newport, right across the street from Coastal kids. Also amazing, especially for my shy kiddo. I've heard Dr Johnson in Huntington Harbor is good for a normal dentist, that's where we're going next month.

Dr Richard Mungo is the most wonderful pediatric dentist. My kids have almost all outgrown his practice now, but they never wanted to leave. Dr Pauline Pepek is a great pediatrician, at surf city pediatrics:)

Dr Bennett was so awesome with me prolonging and spacing my son's shots, as long as they got done she didn't care. I said pick whatever 2 are most important each visit and they were cool...she's so nice and sweet, heck we even had a political chat once lol. Very friendly and personable.

Dr Zachariah Reda was my son'a pediatrician. They're fabulous. In Newport Beach- on Avocado. I think they might have an office in HB now. They're stellar physicians!! Took great care of my baby boy.

Eine Medical Group, Dr. Harry Pellman. I nursed both my girls for 2 years each. He was not only super supportive, but tried to convince me to nurse for 3 years for the health benefits to my little ones. Office staff is great, even though it's a fairly large practice. They are supportive, friendly, professional and respond to all concerns in a timely manner. Always very positive experiences with them. Nurse on, Mama!:-)

Dr Steve Schumm, DDS he has been our dentist since '81. We love him. He is a great open minded human and a stellar dentist.

Also GP Dr Burnbeck, Sabine. At Beach Physicians on Adams. She is from Europe, can tell her anything, not a big "medicate it" dr. Which I like.

Love Dr Birkhauser at Hoag so far. She's been great in a difficult situation (two parents with opposing medical views - not my husband and I! ;) )

Surf city pediatrics is the best! I'm 19 and have gone there for 10 years and still go see Dr. Bennett. The whole staff there makes you feel comfortable and most of the nurses have been there for as long as I've been going there. They are on beach and Newman by the hospital!

Dr Richard P Mungo dds for pediatric dentistry in hb was my go too when my kids were young. He is without a doubt the best around, both my older kids had many many issues and he handled them all without even a blink, my oldest son knocked his front teeth out on almost a monthly basis and his teeth are perfect now. They both cried the day they found out they were too old too continue with him. Appts are hard too get but worth the effort

We've seen Dr Chu and Dr Chen. Both are nice and patient (my son HATES going to the dentist). They both have a nice staff that are friendly to scared kids. I like Dr Chen a little more because she took more time after each visit to talk about what was going on with his teeth. Both were more expensive that I hoped for, but my dental insurance is not that great I guess.

Dr Reggiardo. Kids didn't like dentist until they started going to him. He and his staff make the kids feel at ease and make the entire visit, either short or long, fun and enjoyable. You will not be disappointed.

Dr Lopez on 17 th st in Costa Mesa/Newport. I think he accepts all insurances, not 100% sure. We refer to him and Dr Hersch (ppo/cash only ) almost daily.:)

I don't know about insurance coverage but Graciela Sullivan Pediatric Dentist on Warner was a good dentist until we went to a adult dentist with Gary Schmidt who is fantastic off of bolas.

Dr. Browns staff not the best... Be sure to check out which ever person they send to work on your child. They do take denti-cal but I will never ever go back there after what they put my daughter through. I was about to stop everything and head out when they said they were done.

I have had the best luck with Sunshine Dental off 17 th and Bristol in Santa Ana. They are amazing with kids, they take denti-cal and are super nice. I think they changed their name to Smile Now or something like that.

I like Dr. Butler and Hersch in Newport, not sure on insurance.
