I had fallen when I was like 9, I and had fallen in a way that 1 of the brakets for my braces was pushed into my gum. Dr. Dolan wasn't available and Dr. Tupta was fresh out of school and working for moms dentist ...and he was on call that Saturday. I am terrified of needles, so much so I can't even see them. I begged him to just take out the braket without numbing me. He said it was like bee sting, gave me an itty bitty pinch, and I was fine.
