SOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope Jolie is ok bless her
Alex L. replied:
Sunna Björg what is the cut like? The reason I ask is that I just took my dog to Chingford pets at home vet yesterday for a paw that has been sliced by glass. Anna the vet was great, she said that stitching pads does not often work and just recommended natural healing, with daily washing with iodine and bandaging. She gave him antibiotics and pain killers. I took my own bandages as the vets always seem to charge a fortune for this, cost me £86.

UPDATE: First of all, thanks for your lovely messages and support. We ended up taking Jolie to Harmsworth Animal Hospital (what a name!) in Finsbury park, which are open 24 hours every day. Took her this morning and she was seen by a nurse immediately and will have stitches done this evening or tomorrow morning. Lovely folks there and were wonderful with her. They are busy hence the wait for her op, but at least they could take her straight away and make her comfortable rather than all of us waiting for hours in a crowded reception room which I've heard can happen at least with Celia Hammond and such who offer free treatments to those on benefits.
Sunna B. replied:
Really appreciate it - you lot on here are all absolute darlings:) Thankfully Jolie isn't in any pain and the wound completely clean and all bandaged up, so I'll get her sorted out tomorrow hopefully xxx

The vet we use is Animal Ark, Goodmayes Ave, Goodmayes, 020 8599 8544. My vet Lyndon Basha, who is the owner, has castrated many rats and other animals for us, and is very experienced at small animal surgery.
