Looking for recommendations on dog boarding in Cincinnati. I saw the last thread on this was back a couple years so I thought I’d get some shiny new 2019...

DogTown has been amazing so far for our 10 month old puppy. It’s all open spaced, dogs get to play with each other all day, and they have webcams for you to check up on them. Can’t recommend them enough, definitely useful even for a few hours (husky puppies are non stop haha).

Check out Rover.com or download their app! My boyfriend and I have been boarding dogs at our house using that for almost 8 months now. We take 2-3 dogs in per month. We absolutely love it! If your dog enjoys other dogs, we take them to the dog park every day (Fido Field, downtown, where there is always a furry friend or a few!) Of course, we go on multiple walks a day around our neighborhood. We have a few bones of our own, bowls, outside leads and stakes, and doggy doo bags. We also send pictures every day so you can see your baby enjoying their mini vacation while you enjoy yours!
On rover, each account has reviews. You can check each person out and even plan a meet and greet prior to booking. It’s very safe, easy to use, and easy to communicate through.
Our reason for signing up: We love dogs so much but we are young and need to save our money right now. Plus, we have no idea what breeds we like the most. This is our way of seeing all kinds of ages and breeds before we adopt one of our own.

Dog Day, Every Day is a good one. Your dog will never be in a cage there and can roam free. It's perfect for my young Aussie if the need arises!

It's a bit of a drive, but Country Lane is absolutely phenomenal: [http://www.countrylanepetresort.com/](http://www.countrylanepetresort.com/) They are amazing folks that are so caring with all their boarders.

One thing I always liked about PetSmart (In Mason at least) is there is someone in the boarding area 24/7, which a lot of places don't do. It makes me feel better knowing there's someone who is keeping an eye on the dogs in case something happens overnight

I like K9 Country Club in Mason. [https://4 k9 club.com/contact/](https://4 k9 club.com/contact/) Doggy daycare during the day, so they get plenty of exercise. Regular boarding places that charge for every walk, every time they let them out of the crate make no sense to me.

Robinwood Kennel down in KY, near the airport. Inexpensive, clean, on a large property. Each kennel is attached to a greenspace that they cycle the dogs through, and you can pay for more walks. You can also have them bathe and trim nails (I have them do it day of pickup). But it's DEFINITELY a kennel, not a doggy resort or anything.

Puppywood in Montgomery and Anderson. we’ve used them for years and they are always great. I don’t like using petsmart the play area is too small and they don’t let the dogs play very long and it’s always overcrowded. Puppywood has webcams that you can watch the dogs during the day which is awesome. Camp bow wow is good too! They also have webcams!

We use Petey's Pet Stop in Clifton, and as a backup, The Pet Spot in Norwood. Petey's is much smaller, more mom-and-pop, and slightly more affordable; we love them, and so does our dog. The Pet Spot was our go-to for years and years before we moved, and we still like them a lot, but they're just a bigger operation (which kind of stresses out our high-strung dog) and slightly more expensive.

We've been happy so far with the Sharonville PetSuites, and also with the services of Happy Paws (for in-home care).

Dogtown is good, and if you can get off of their waitlist, FurKids is amazing! My only negative about Dogtown is that they started to put our small(ish) dog with the toy breeds (which she is not), and when we watched her on the Webcam she looked so bored. No negatives to say about FurKids - we absolutely love them and they’re a little more affordable than Dogtown I believe.
