Looking for a hairdresser Hi there,
I'm planning on cutting my mid-back length hair into my normal pixie cut but, because it's a pixie cut, I want to make sure it's...

[Aynie Olmstead at Blue Wren Studio](https://www.vagaro.com/bluewrenstudio) It is in Fountain Square. She is honestly the best hairdresser I have ever come in contact with. She truly listens and will not proceed until she knows exactly what you want!

Check out [Rachel at Bang (a salon)] (https://www.facebook.com/bangasalon) They have before/after pics on the their FB page, some are pixie cuts. She's easy to talk to, listens, and asks questions to make sure you're getting what you want. FWIW i'm a guy, but I've had nothing but compliments whenever I get my hair cut by her.

Really happy with the job Salon Orange Moon did when I got 16 inches cut. Got a scalp massage that was AMAZING in addition to a good haircut.

I work in beauty distribution in Plainfield, so I am very familiar with many stylists on the west side. I mostly know Plainfield, Avon, and Brownsburg. As far as salons go, I'm a big fan of Meese & Company in Avon, Roots in Brownsburg, Deweese on Rockville Rd., Foxy's in Plainfield. All stylists at those salons, that I know of, are seasoned and are very good. If you want specific stylist recommendations, PM me.

I really love my stylist Emily at Evolve Salon on Mass Ave! My cut is pretty simple, but she does the best color I've ever had.

I just started going to Brick and Mortar downtown on Delaware Street by City Market. Brandon does a good job there and probably fits what you're looking for. I believe the company's Instagram has some photos of their work on there.

I've been going to Lynese for years. She just started her own one chair barbershop after being a manager/barber at Floyd's for years. She's always done an awesome job and lots of people followed her when she left. https://www.solasalonstudios.com/salon-professional/lynese-marchica

Rudy at R. Todd Fisher is an apprentice but the only one there who does beard trims. He's pretty awesome and less than the other barber there. It's in Mueller.
