Hi there, myself and some friends are looking to plan a couple of riding weekends during 2014 where we can bring our horses and graze them overnight (safely) at B&B's...

We have had a few people stay with us, either for a few days, and have gone exploring on horseback, or have just been stabling (endurance riders) We have some fantastic forest tracks all around us that can all be ridden on. And one couple contacted Ardverikie Estate for permission to ride on the beach, and were given the keys to any gates that were locked, and spent the whole day hacking round the estate. Most of the forest tracks do need you to box out to the start of, but if you have travelled to get here it shouldn't be a problem. Our website is http://www.horseholidayscotland.co.uk

B&B's and fabulous Trail of the 7 Lochs and South Loch Ness Trail plus grazing/stabling for horses on route. Great riding county on the South side of Loch Ness. Fine and handy. If you want further info then phone 07973 815208. All year round.
Hullo! I'm planning on flying up to attend from South Wales. Wasn't sure if there is any uni accommodation I can take advantage of, or if you could recommend a b&b near...
Kristin L. replied:
Hi! No uni accommodation I'm afraid - it's only just being built! In terms of B&Bs, Visit Scotland has a great website, and Inverness is a small city. The college (our location) is on the Culloden side of Inverness, but there is a bus from Inverness City Centre that goes to the college every 15 minutes or so. So anywhere that is within walking distance of the train/bus station in Inverness would be absolutely fine!
Kristin L. replied:
It's not too far out - it's near the hospital (Raigmore) on the other side of the A9. It's in an area called 'Inverness Campus' or Beechwood. It's maybe a 45-minute walk from the bus station. Do email me if you can't fine anywhere to stay - literature@uhi.ac.uk
I'm looking for someone to put an en-suite bathroom into my B&B in Portree. I don't know if you'd come as a team (plumber, joiner and electrician) or just a plumber as I...
