Okay, Ed Stevens, you made me look up this chemical. I'm a trained pharmacologist/toxicologist who's worked in the chemicals and biopharma industry. I couldn't help look up the active ingredient of the FMC trade name Tolstar Professional. Bifenthrin is otherwise sold as 'Ortho Home Defense Max'. Stuff works great for mosquito's, fleas, ticks, and a general insecticide poisoning the sodium channel (nervous system). Mildly toxic to mammals with greatest risk via ingestion as route. Considering the amount of rain we've had this year and the shade area in question, the insects are having orgies and a 'field day' at our expense. Time for a payback.;) Thank you neighbor.

Bottom line is this stuff works great. Tolstar Pro is a highly concentrated version that can be mail ordered. Common folk can simply buy 'Ortho Home Defense Max' at ACE or Menards or Farm and Fleet, hook the RTU bottle on a garden hose and spray their house, grass and flower beds with minimal to low human/pet consequences. I however like to pour my own drink so will likely take you up on the offer for a small pour so I can mix near neat and spray to the carpenter bee area.
