I like Shiroyama Cafe in Kikko Park. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Cafe Company is good too! G.Labo has delicious coffee and desserts.

POS cafe downtown (just after Fuji Grand and Wants) is good. They have coffee and a dessert menu. Ambiente is a small, really adorable coffee shop in the downtown area as well. You turn left at the YMCA, and it's on the right before the stoplight.

The Fuji Grand at Ajina Station has a macha cafe, pos cafe downtown, nana's green tea cafe (there's a bunch around but think the closest one is in Hatsukaichi you me town)

There are two coffee shops in downtown in the main avenue, Ambiente and POS Cafe. Both are great but POS Cafe Matcha is the best.

I have bought the individual packs to make matcha latte from Ippodo Tea Shop in Kyoto - I order online and have it shipped to my Japanese address. They also sell various matcha powder for drinks and include a recipe to make it at home. Here is the link to the individual packets. Cafe Company is cute and the coffee is really good (left at 4 corners, right at the light by the big Soft Bank, then its down a bit on the left; huge sign). Love Tully's of course. There is a new coffee shop in the new Iwakuni Station but I haven't tried it yet
