I need to find a dependable, honest and reasonably priced mechanic to replace the front bearings in my 2008 Ford Focus. Any recommendations?

Yes Cara Franey Muglia, that horrible man made me cry ... its a long story but we had a diesel that we had taken to him and he had promised to fix 3 seperate times. He had just opened his shop recently and was overwhelmed with work. We were fine with just one car at the time and so we were not in a hurry. Hunter then got diagnosed with cancer and we needed a second car to travel to his weekly chemo treatments at CHKD so once we got back home from the hospital we went straight to Fred. I explained what happened and why we really needed him to fix the truck that he kept telling us that he would fix. Well he refused to work on it and then said he had no idea who we would turn to because he was the best on the beach. Cara, never in my life have I ever been treated like the way he treated me ... I couldn't understand especially after he had told us 3 times prior to us truly needing the car that he would be happy to work on it. So we use George at Outer Banks Motor in KDH. He is very nice!

I absolutely agree Holly. He is awful. Bayside Body Shop is wonderful. Honest and dependable.

Stay far away from All Car and Truck in Manteo. I have never in my life been treated with such disrespect and rudeness. My job is customer service so I was completely shocked and horrified by the way he treated me. His wife is lovely but Fred is not someone I would ever deal with nor would I ever recommend him.
