We use Dr Gamotis in Jasper. He's an awesome orthodontist and will allow you to make payments. He costs more than Boshell or McKinney but he doesn't charge for every broken wire or bracket. His costs covers the whole time of treatment including retainers.

Nicole, we used Dr. Aswell a couple of times then he pulled the wrong tooth on one of the kids. His dental asst were very rude when I told them they pulled the wrong tooth.

Nicole, I used Dr Hughes in Tuscaloosa and he was wonderful. I only had to go every 6-8 weeks which helped tremendously, not having to go every month.

I forgot that Dr Aswell did braces!! I would definitely give him a call! I'd personally want someone local in case of emergencies. But yes, Dr McKinney is good as well.

Dr Sarver is about to put mine on. I need jaw surgery and he is the best for bone deformities and extensive issues with orthodontics. This is the second time I've worn braces too.

We use Dr. Thacker. He's great. I think her smile is beautiful though! Did she wear a retainer after her braces?

Dr Gamotis is an amazing, professional orthodontist that has his patients best interest in mind. Im sure he felt it would be unnecessary to take your thousands of dollars if it wasn't the best thing to do for her teeth. I'm pretty sure if you insisted she get braces again he would do it. I would much rather a dr/orthodontist/medical or dental professional tell me "hey I wouldn't feel comfortable taking your money bc I don't feel it's needed" rather than them do it just because the money is there. Be careful with Thacker...he messed my brother in laws teeth up badly. My second recommendation would probably be the orthodontist that Dr Stafford recommends. I forgot his name. But he is from Tuscaloosa, comes up to Jasper.

Dr. McKinney? That's who I'm fixing to call now. I wouldn't do it, but the gaps are getting worse. I'm not worried about the money. I'm mad at myself for not going with Gamotis to begin with. I've seen lots of adults getting braces a second or third time and that's why I couldn't believe she couldn't get them.

I love PT ORTHO. Used them on both the kids. Several offices in Bham and a new one in jasper. We seen Dr. Taylor at the mountain brook office.

Could she not have an invisaline made to pull the gaps together? I had braces twice and Dr. Boshell made me one. I can take it in and out when I want. He is not practicing anymore but someone else could make those.

We used Dr. David Sarver in Vestavia Hills. It's a long trip, but Olivia had multiple orthodontic issues and he did an amazing job for us. We used him for all three girls.

BOTH of my boys have used Thacker, and we have always been very pleased !!! Neither of them have ever had any complaints !!! MIkey actually encouraged Brodie and told him what a good guy Dr. Thacker is !!! I was impressed when he realized Brodie was Mikeys little Brother he asked if Mikey ever made it into the Military (no) and then asked if he followed his dads line of work !!! That goes a long way with me, the familiarity he had with my kids !!!

Dr. G "Gamotis" is a really great guy and I am not bias just because my wife works for him!!!.... Well, maybe just a little? He is very down to earth, listens to you and really cares about making your smile and overall oral health the best it can be. My wife loves her job and the people she works with and thinks the world of doc. Gamotis gets my vote!
