We use Dr. Smith here in jasper. He's wonderful and has been my dr since I was like 12. But I have heard Dr. Levin is also great. If I were to change I'd use him.

Dr. Goldsmith at Birmingham Peds. St. Vincent's. She is wonderful. We've seen just about all of the doctors there and there isn't one that I haven't liked.

Since Anna Reese was born, we have always used Dr. Wamack from Birmingham Pediatrics at St. Vincent's. He was highly recommended and we love him!!!!

And I agree about when you have to see another dr. At Birmingham pediatrics, they are wonderful!

Dr. Levin was my pediatrician and he still sees my now 22 year old baby brother. Lol! I always liked him, but driving to Birmingham isn't always optimal.

We use Dr. Farr with Birmingham Peds at St. Vincent's. He's really amazing! I recommend him 100%!

That's why I chose to keep using Dr. Smith. I almost never have a wait time, it's close and he'll take as much time as you need or want to explain and help you with ANYTHING. He's fantastic. My only complaints are with his office, not him.

Jami, Mayfair also two separate waiting rooms for well and sick. They have a VERY short waiting time. Usually takes us about 20-30 mins total from check in to when we leave. They are paired with children's hospital and are open Saturday's. If your child is sick, they will always see you that day.

Birmingham pediatrics to me was the best option for us. I had AG at St Vincents with Dr Edwards.. Dr Hale came around I believe and I met him. He was really nice and good with her. They are also open on Saturday's for sick patients, and I can call them anytime day or night and they have someone on call to answer your questions. I wanted a dr that would listen to my concerns and give me their honest opinion about things, dr goldsmith is very straight forward, I haven't seen any other dr. But I believe they have the best pediatrician's around. I guess it's all on who your comfortable with. I had dr dabbs and Highland when I was little and my mom said they were terrible. And dr herring is a good dr. But their facilities are terrible and VERY rude workers.

I'm with Taylor Price. Dr. Herring is the absolute best. He's calm and listens, and the kids do great with him.

Does it take a long time to be seen at Birmingham Pediatrics Jessica Dreher Renee Barton Cagle? I saw Dr. Herring once a few years back. The office was very nasty and crowded with sick, dirty kids running around. I swore I would never be back!

Dr.Goldsmith, Birmingham pediatrics. The longest I've ever waited was 15 mins. And that was because I had to fill paper work out the first time. They have 3 different waiting rooms newborn, well, & sick... the staff is Amazing and very helpful.

I use Dr. Herring, he's really, really amazing. My kids backup pediatrician is Dr. Cuomo though and she's great as well!

Love Dr. Cuamo and Dr. Herring!! Dr. Herring is Brentlee's Dr. but we've used Cuamo when he isn't in!! Both Fab people and amazing Doctors!!☺

Dr Cuamo is amazing.... We go see her and Lacey if Dr Herring is busy... She is very thorough and she listens to what you think and how you feel

Dr. Wilbanks is the reason why my son couldn't speak until he was almost 3 years old. I had to threaten him with calling the medical board bc he would not give me a referral to children's of alabama. I highly recommend you do your research on wilbanks. Ms. Wagon is great.

I used Dr Hyland and Dabba with both my kids and my oldest was born in 1981 now I have four grandkids the youngest is 6 months and they have all used Dr Hyland. Two generations is a good recommendation I think.

We'll I know there are good comments about Dr. Wilbanks and at the present time that the Dr. I use but I'm going to change my baby's Dr, because I get the feeling Dr wilbanks thinks I'm crazy just by the way he looks at me when I know there's something wrong with my baby. That's just my opinion. No hard feeling to the ones that like him.:-) good luck on finding a Dr right for you!
