Theresa, call Humansdorp hospital as they have reasonable rates (might be free if you qualify under certain income bracket). I go to dr Claire Jordaan at Policlinic, lovely dentist and waiting period not as long as some other dentists in town

I can only speak highly of the Dentists at Humansdorp Hospital. They are an amazing bunch of people, who works gentle and very well. And they charge minimal.

Tell me about it Tina! I have to just say that the Pellsrus Clinic are really great! I've practically bought shares in the place lol over the past year and a half! Yes one may have to wait to be seen to, but you get what you need when you do and the clinic is clean and tidy. Compared to JHB it's a 5 star hotel!

The Hospital Dentists have spesific date you have to call for an appointment. Phone them and ask when that date is. They normally help people who are in pain almost immediately. They really very nice people. AND I have a phobia of dentists.... Just because of one bad experience. But they are awesome. Made me feel right at ease and injections are not painful AT ALL! Score!!

Theresa, I spoke to Ane who is one of 6 dentists at Humansdorp hospital and she said the usually have emergency appointments for clients with abscesses or severe pain so should be able to assist quickly. Call to make an appointment but mention pain and abscess! Else they have certain days where they make bookings for the next 2 months. The next date for appointments is 27 October
