It's a bit of a drive, and you have to plan ahead to get an appointment, but I have found Meetinghouse Dental Care to absolutely be worth the slight inconvenience

I am a HUGE fan of Dr. Catherine West at http://www.jenkintowndental.com/ they are up on Townshipline and 611 in the PNC Bank Building. I like it because it's a small, caring office.

Dr. Claude Fratamico, DMD... right on New Second St. Was recommended by a neighbor and now we have recommended him to several friends.

Dr. Larry Mazin. He's in the same building as Marco Polo. He's friendly and very gentle.

It was Dr. Davis who alerted me to a problem with my eye. She recommended an ophthalmologist who discovered I had a detached retina and needed surgery. I credit Dr. Davis with this discovery, a problem which could have resulted in the loss of my sight in that eye. She has also been great on the follow-up.

Dr. Joanne Burrell. She is at Abington Hospital but don't let that scare you! She is AMAZING. I am terrified of the dentist and all that goes along with it. She is patient and empathetic and doesn't push you to do anything you are not comfortable doing. If there is a certain procedure you are worried about, she'll talk over your concerns and will come up with creative solutions or work-arounds to make it more comfortable/less scary for you.
