We've gotten my son's cakes from Paddy Cake in Bloomfield for the last two years, I think their cakes are delicious and worth the price (its more than Giant Eagle, but still reasonable compared to other bakeries).

Giant Eagle doesn't make cakes fresh anymore, they just thaw and decorate and then overcharge you for it. I haven't tried Mazziotti's yet (I usually try to make my own cakes) but I know they make them. Community Market has good cakes, we've ordered from them several times. If you're looking for something fancy along the lines of fondant, there are a couple of people who do it out of their homes.
