Anyone had LASIK surgery on your eyes? Can anyone recommend a good place to get it done?
And has anyone had really bad experiences?
Natalie B. replied:
I asked this same question the other day got given recommendations for a Dr Chris Daras at olivedale, 0114625638 (called and asked 17800 for both eyes and includes hospital fees, obviously would not include the visit and checks before hand) and the other dr recommended highly was Dr Van Wyk at NHC, 0118015858 ( called for a quote and was told 25 k for both eyes), we still deciding, both came highly recommended.

Kayla B. replied:
Ken and I have both had it done. .. worth every cent. We used Dr Blumenveld, he practices at Mulbarton hospital and does the surgery at Sandhurst eye clinic. He is one of the best.
Sherilee B. replied:
Dr Dos Ramos at the optimed eye centre is really good. 0118691733. He did my moms. And Dr Bolle who did my mom in laws is also apparently very good
Taryn G. replied:
Dr Darras in Bryanston. ..apparently the best in the country. He is doing my eyes in a few years

It was R12 k in 2007, did it at the cresta eye center, Dr Valialla from Brenthurst, the best experience since then. No regression in 9 years according to an optician. You needed to be a candidate for the op if i recall.Technology must have improved since then

best investment ever!!! Visiomed is great! Dr Hein Van Wyk
