Hi guys. Where do the cosplayers get all their amazing wigs from? Do you guys order them online or is there a local distributor?
Ray W. replied:
Baka Sakura, the go-to gal!
Kaylee P. replied:
From Baka Sakura's Costuming & Crafts locally. Koncept Kitty has a few wigs too, and Plushie Heaven does group orders occasionally from Wig-Supplier.com. Aliexpress and eBay also have good wigs if you look hard enough.
Natalie H. replied:
Baka Sakura mostly:) She also sells awesome lenses.

You must go to CANSA association opposite eastgate. The wonderful staff there have a selection of wigs of all colours and styles which they will help to fit ... All all they ask for is a donation of whatever you can afford if you can. Xx

It depends what kind of wig you want, a lace, synthetic or human hair. Mike and Liz in Randburg supply a lot of cancer patients with wigs. They are very reasonably priced and have a huge variety to choose from. I would suggest you put something underneath the wig so it doesn't cause any irritation to you scalp as it will be very sensitive. Good luck with your treatment. I am here if you need me. You can PM me if you like. I am currently going through treatment for breast cancer myself.

Well, Theres Baka Sakura's Costuming & Crafts in Cape Town, Plushie Heaven in Jozi does do orders from wig-supplier (.com) but I think their current order just closed today or does tomz (those are my two favourite suppliers~) ...then apparently there's a shop at the Wheel Lauren Jubber can help with info on that) and then the Dance shop called Prima Donna in La Lucia mall sometimes stocks wigs... usually the cheap party kind but sometimes also the quality cosplay ones for the naruto props ect, There's the two awesome sources mentioned above and Uncut in Brightwater commons in Jozi (they used to have an online store- idk if they still, haven't checked)... their figures ect. are often fake but they're cheap and with necklaces and headbands ect for cosplay, if you don't mind the merch not being "official" they work hope those help- I'll make a group doc with good resources for Durban cosers soon~ n.n
Thank you guys so much for organising the UCON events! It was my first time cosplaying and I really enjoyed it, so thank you for that!
I would like to cosplay next...
