Jewel at ridge and Rt 6 is ok; I'll go for quick fill-in trips. Mariano's, Walmart, & Tony's (Tony's is the best variety for meat/produce, IMO) are all in Shorewood on Rt 59. For a pediatric dentist, we go to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, and my kids love it there. Though, they have always had healthy teeth, so our experience is limited to a cleaning, X-ray, and a sticker. ;-) Oh, and sealants for my oldest.:-)

For pediatrician we like Dr. Hart. She is located in Minooka at the Morris Hospital Ridge Road Campus. The building is pretty much across from Jewel. Easy to get in same day if needed. I have friends that see Dr. Moy there as well and they like him too. Welcome to the Neighborhood!:)

For a pediatrician, my kids see Dr. Hart out of the Morris Hospital Ridge Road Campus (Ridge Road & Rt. 6). Her and her assistant are great! For the dentist, my kids go to Naperville Dental Specialists and see Dr. Denise out of their Shorewood office on Rt. 59 & Theodore. She is a pediatric dentist. Good luck!

Wendy, we used to go to Dr. Rita too. We now go to Dr. Ahoyt in Plainfield on rt. 30. Not sure if they are on your list or not but young dentists and very clean modern office.

Not sure about what insurance he accepts, but my uncle, Dr. Jim Malinowski (with Dr. Sefcik on Infantry Drive) is my dentist! I may be biased but I adore him!:)

I know it would be a hike for you but we love Treasured Smiles in Frankfort. Right on Rt. 30. Dr. Steve and Dr. Dennis. They are awesome and I have referred many of my friends there and they are all happy with them including Stacey. They make going to the dentist fun.

And Dr Rita and Shorewood Family take our ins., they just charge alot more than the allowed amounts for everything. Tons of dentists are on the list, but I have never heard of anyone using any of them....could be scary

We have been going to Faber Dental Arts for twelve years and love them. Their offices are spotless; they're always on time, happy to see you and really kind. Every time one of the children has had an emergency they've seen us immediately. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Invisalign is only for minimum changes, not for everyone. We use grove dental in dg, they are really good for the peds, Dr. Cabana is or regular dentist and have met with Dr. Clark the ortho who is good too.

There is a Dental School on 355 and Butterfield, Midwestern University, in Downers Grove. 630-743-4500 and they cost half of what dentist charges, 3 rd year dental students supervised by retired dentists. They take longer and have a process but cost half the amount!

No don't do 1-800 dentist. Word of mouth is better ( no pun intended) travel to have Auntie clean em . Dr. Brian Werner in Chicago area was the best I've worked with. Dr. Werner does beautiful dentistry. Also Chicago dental society is a better source. They will give you bio and let you know if there are any complaints.

I love Shorewood Family Dentistry on Rt. 52! They are the ones with the big giraffes in the front. Great service and cater to "scardy cats." Check out their website for more info! I am sure they are great with kids. I saw plenty in the waiting room.

this sounds like you need the input of Super Brian!:) my BIL lives in & loves Longwood...he's also lived in Oviedo, Lake Mary & Orlando, when I lived there - I was on the other coast near Tampa. My SIL works at Florida Hospital and speaks highly of the doctors that are affiliated.:) good luck on your move! I can't wait to move back.
