I had mine done 10 years ago. Dr. Kisla was my doctor out of New Lenox/Silver Cross group. The sx was done in Chicago. I would absolutely do it again. I do need glasses but that was because pregnancy w/twins changed my eyes significantly.

I use to use Ashenberg but had problems with his staff and repetitive misdiagnosis. My little guy was terrified going there due to how the staff held him down to administer his vaccines. I now see Stephan Nemeth with meridian medical associates. They are very good with my son and broke him of being terrified to go to the doctor.

I also would not recommend Aschingberg. We like to have reasoning behind medical treatment and that is not the case at his office. Our pediatrician is in Naperville but Dr. Bierman with Shorewood Pediatrics discharged my little girl from Silver Cross and he was awesome

I've been seeing Dr. Heffernan for over 20 years now. She's great but you have to wait 2 hours just to see her sometimes. She used to be with Joliet medical group which is now Meridian medical I think. I've seen some of the Drs there like Dr. Nemeth from time to time and they all seemed great so I would recommend them too.
