Jan me and my family has been going to Dr Steven nemeth SR. Yes he does take City Ins. Great guy n Dr. Plus also his son Dr. Stephen Nemeth is great to, Merridian Medical Group on Glenwood right by St. Joes.

Dr. Eilene Heffernan - Family Freedom Practice, she's very pro-family. 903 N. 129 th Infantry Dr., Joliet (815) 744-4357. Only draw back is sometimes it's an hour wait but she's takes her time with each patient and she's very good with running test and aggressive with medication if needed. She's been my doc for 25 yrs.

What you have to look at also is what hospital the Dr works out of. I've heard nothing good of Silver Cross. St. Joes here in Joliet isn't the best. Edward Hospital is better. Central Dupage is the best, in my opinion. Lisa, the best people to ask about hospitals are paramedics. They go to all the hospitals and I guarantee you that they will know which are the better hospitals for let's say a broken arm, or a heart attack, or major trauma.
