I would just call around to the major companies and get quotes- State Farm, American Family, Allstate, Farmers. Go with an agent- but not an independent one. Unfortunately, they have no pull with a company if something happens. Call josh if you have questions or want more info. I have my ins licenses and can give you good recommendations on limits.

That depends on your record. I have been with State Farm from day one. I once called Progressive, I think (whoever advertised to tell you what insurance company would give you the best rate if they couldn't), and they couldn't even come close to beating the price I had on my insurance.

Ron Trujillo with Allstate. He's in the Sears plaza on 7 th and Illinois. He's the man! Ha an accident a couple of years ago, settled and my rates didn't go up a penny. Great experience for having had to actually use it! He also calls me on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday!

Good luck finding anything cheaper. Ours went up about 30 percent and our independent agent didn't find anyone cheaper. That said, we use Kraft Insurance and Billie is our agent-woman.

Brenda-I've heard only good things about American Family. A very good friend is an agent: Jeff Hodkin. He's in Carthage but has several customers here. Katie & Derek got theirs with him. We plan to switch over too. Don't like ours; wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy-Barton County Mutual. It was a battle to get them to pay us. Not sure if it was the insurance company or maybe the agent, either way, I got fed up.
