Hello. I got her a painkiller which seemed to help her. The army vet wasnt there, but i waited for Dr. Otho (who treated her after I found her on the streets) and therefore knows her. He's not sure what happened, because the leg isn't broken, but he suspects she may have either slipped and fallen, or that it's a pinched nerve.:( poor baby is still terrified, and i'm covered in scratches (she's quite aggressive - remnants from her street days!) Yes, but what can we do if we receive messages like that? Lecturing them and turning them off won't be of much use. We can explain to them nicely - but the fact is such messages arrive well afterwards - and the animal may have moved since then and difficult to locate. Animal Care Association of Pakistan already sent someone to look, but dog couldn't be located. Also, we mustn't be so hasty to judge people. It could be they were in an office van, or only 16 years old and parents won't stop, or in a public bus, or female and male family member won't allow them to stop for a dog.. it could be anything. We're sure they would've loved to help get the dog to a vet, otherwise they wouldn't have even bothered to message us when home. People usually don't ask for help for animals for fame and glory. Whatever the reason they couldn't transport the dog themselves, now some people can go and attempt to look, no? The injured dog doesn't care who will help as long as someone does. Everyone's different. Some can and will stop to help, some can't, some won't, others would never. We can only help spread the message of kindness to all sentient beings and encourage people to at least call a vet if they themselves can't stop or wait around till help arrives. Folks in the twin cities area can certainly help by helping us update our list of private vets in the area.
