Certainly NOT Lowes. I contracted with them last May and specifically told them to make sure the proper permits were obtained. Needless to say, the gang of crimin,,,"contractors" they sent out did not get a permit, didn't show up until well into July, tried to get me to sign the deck off as complete while handrails were missing and got me a Notice of Violation from Knox County Codes Enforcement for not having a permit, When the county finally came out for the inspection after they finally got a permit, the deck failed the inspection so badly that it had to be torn down. And this mess is still not settled. The original contractor they sent out was Crite's Creations out of Louisville TN.
