Depending on where you're coming from...if you take 81: Check out Lorelei Coplen and Rendezvous Run Farm in Carlisle, PA. Great location and Pony Club family. Turnout or stalls depending on weather and your preferences.

Kelley Ford Eq Center is awesome layover spot in VA. accommodations for horse and humans as well as dining options so you don't have to leave once you arrive. Enjoy your trip!

Tappan zee bridge and down 81. Do a longer day the first day and layover at Virginia Horse park. Comfort Inn right around the corner with good rates. That makes day 2 shorter for you so that you have more time/energy to unload in daylight! The minimal extra time you have going 81 is worth it to not have to deal with the craziness of 95!

I do the same as Katie (well, did before we moved) leave at night, 95 straight shot. I know it's too far for you Jen, but if anyone needs a layover in NC(we are right off 95), look us up :) we have a few stalls and pasture. (Www.cartier-farms.com) Safe travels to all!!
