I'd definitely say go to an attorney for setting this up. We had Eric Guttormsen set up our LLC up our accountant is Chuck Gierl with Seymour and Associates. They both have been great.

We have used Tirabassi Felland & Clark for years. I've had some weird tax situations with stock sales, working for places out of state that wouldn't pay our state tax, etc and they've always done a good job. They've even gone back to past years and corrected things to get more money back for us.

If you have relatively simple tax returns, I recommend doing them yourself. You'll save yourself a lot of money in the long run. Money you're really going to need as a new, first time homeowner — especially if you have a mortgage. I've been doing my mom and I's tax returns now since 2007 and find it relatively easy breezy. It's a lot easier to do than I thought it would. I file online with [TurboTax](https://turbotax.intuit.com/). I used to work as a front desk coordinator (receptionist) in an accounting firm and don't recommend seeing a professional unless you have complicated tax returns.

By the way, welcome to WI. My mom and I moved to Pleasant Prairie last August after living in the North Chicago/Waukegan area our entire lives. Mom still works in IL and commutes back and forth to the Great Lakes Naval Base (it's 30 minutes each way) while I just recently became employed at an auto body shop in Kenosha after having been unemployed for the last 2½+ years. Luckily for me, my drive is only 10 minutes each way.
