I use Dish and they have been good to us….Charter Cable is the WORST!

We have Basic Cable in Buxton and we love it and it not expensive and it has 60+ channels and they are mostly good! It is Charter Cable and we haven't had much problem with it! Direct TV is what I had and it just got too expensive and didn't watch bu t maybe 10-15 of the channels! Not worth paying all that money for that!!!! Internet the same way! Century link is what we had and got to be too much so switched to Silicon Travel Wireless. Reasonable and no problems!! I guess it depends on what you want and how much you willing to spend!!!! Be glad to give you numbers if needed! We use our cell phones. No home phone, we don't use'em!

We use Direct TV for TV, charter for Internet but there is a problem. We went with them since they advertise faster speeds but what they do not tell you is that it is shared vs Century Link which is dedicated. We may change over after the year. Again we use Magic Jack for the required phone line. Totally happy with it.

I live in Frisco, Charter lines are constantly on the ground after storms. I doesn't seem to take much to take them down and repairs are slow. I use Dish and Century Link for phone and internet. Very few outages with CL.

We have Charter cable and internet. The internet goes out randomly sometimes, but it isn't bad. The cable is fine. It stayed on until the electricity went out during Hurricane Arthur on July 4 2014...around !am.(Hatteras Village) My husband worries abo ut a satellite dish blowing off in a storm. Enjoy your house! We used to stay in the Coast Guard Station in Frisco (right by the beach access). Happy memories as a young child!!! Here's to making your memories.
