If you’re on the east side of the river, Pins to Needles in Scotland is where I had mine altered. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable. I didn’t have much done- had it hemmed and a simple bustle put in. I think it cost $80 total?

Not sure where you’re located, but Ida in Torrington is amazing and has pretty fair prices. I had to have a bridesmaid dress taken in a bit, hemmed and had these tassel things taken off and it was $50. I assume a wedding dress will be more, I think you can call her and ask for an estimate!

I know one who’s good and cheap, but she isn’t fast. Did you ever notice how you can generally get two of them, but try getting all three!
