Cafe Juanita in Juanita. I've never been but heard really good things about it. Supposed to be pricey though.

Pizzaiolo opened recently across from Juanita Village. The locations seems a little strange (an underwhelming strip mall), but the food is delicious. Really friendly staff, you can see the cooks making the pizzas in the wood fire oven from inside the restaurant, and everything is very clean. Family friendly. http://www.pizzaiolooakland.com/

Preservation Kitchen in Bothell isn't new, but their happy hour food portions are very generous and tasty!

Welcome back! When I think of a place that is a "must do" for eating, only a few places jump out. There are some ok places but seriously, few stand outs. I'm the food snob here, I admit that fully and quite honestly feel most places mentioned here, are mediocre at best. For a late fall day, why don't you go to Mount Wachusett for a beautiful hike and go to Harrington Farm for an amazing meal! John Bomba created a special dining experience. Yesterday, my 92-year-old mom went yesterday to the place that used to be called the Jefferson House and liked it very much I cannot comment but my favorite place right now in Princeton is a place called Sonoma . it's a dinner spot and is sublime.

Harvest Grille (formerly Jefferson House), Specialty Sandwich Company, Flip Flops, heavy Evy's in Rutland, Mountain Barn in Princeton, Sonoma in Princeton is fab for a quiet scrumptious dinner-very romantic.

Try the new Harvest Grille in Jefferson. Really good.

Forgot Bagel Inn is tremendous for bagels, coffee, breakfast/lunch.

Orbit Pizza has the best Steak & Cheese grinder along with fabulous pizzas and many other yummy grinders! Skip Mtn. Barn as it isn't even on the way to Barre....Val's is pretty good and Picasso in Barre is great! Rutland has K.P.s for earlier in the day. If you want to return to Holden a different route I recommend going through Westminster and The Old Mill where they now have a delicious reasonable lunch menu in addition to their regular menu...the Mill and river with ducks you can feed is a pretty setting and the food is great! Well congrats on a lovely bride! I like the Mt. Wachusett hike idea, via Rt 31 being much more scenic than Barre. You could stop first thing in the morning for a great breakfast right across from your old high school in Holden, Great food and service, plus see some nice improvements in that area like the school and the new amazing police and fire station. Then proceed to go back to the center and take a left on to 31 to Princeton and enjoy the views. Mt Wachusett is great for that, not to mention just driving through that town in general. Now, after you're done at the Mountain if it's on the days Thursday through Sunday you could double back for a great lunch and view at the Mt Barn barn and sit in the back that face the views or sit in the bar for a fun time. After that it's very easy to get to Barre from there if you have a special spot out there. One more place, not to confuse you, is an absolutely a great place and area is Sturbridge.. Nice shops etc and I would Highly recommend lunch at Soup to Nuts. Quaint, classy, and delicious. That's for another day. You can always use your smart phone to get to all of these places. Enjoy

The French Quarter in Rutland is great.

Skip Val's, found hair "in" my food on 3 different occasions. Holden Sandwich Co. is really good, The Tavern in Rutland is good.

Preservation Kitchen has a couple rooms upstairs.

The Pizza Coop & Ale House will have a private room for parties of that size

The Woodinville Lavender Farm has a beautiful space. They might has preferred caterers.

Preservation Kitchen has a few options for different size rooms you can rent and were very easy to work. I just ate at Lombardi's on Bothell-Everett Highway in Bothell, their food was really good (Italian) and they have a private room that fits about 50.

21 Acres, Woodinville is an interesting venue, lots of parking, and a commercial kitchen with room for 25+ easily. I toured last year.

Daniels Broiler has impeccable service if budget is not an issue and you want to impress.

We had our wedding reception for ~30 people at Lucia in Kirkland. They did a great job and everyone was full and happy. They use their loft as a private space. You could also check out Lot No. 3 in Bellevue, it has a loft that would hold at least 25 people. Lot No. 3 is owned by the same group as Purple Cafe, Barrio, The Commons, etc. They also have a place called Cast Iron, next to Purple in downtown Bellevue that has private space too.

Salish Lodge & Spa

Jebena Cafe in Northgate has a great veggie combo, & also offers gluten-free injera if you request it ahead of time.

Saba is really good, they have amazing veggie dishes. Sunset Cafe is good but it's not as many choices for food. Then Meskel is amazing too!

I agree with Teapot. Also flying saucer for vegan pizza options, Udupi Cafe for Indian food very vegan friendly, El Toreador is Mexican and vegan friendly, and Flying Apron. All places in Redmond.

Yummy Pho (Redmond, WA) in the Bella Botega shopping center has a few really good vegan dishes including a great Vegan Chicken Curry.

Blossom Vegetarian is fabulous! My favorite. Great food and atmosphere.

Thanks for the suggestions! We ended up going to Sante Fe in Totem Lake. There were a couple vegetarian options we were able to veganize. It was ok--they kept the chip basket full. We live in Finn Hill and are definitely going to try some of the Redmond spots soon. Thanks again!

Try Romio's Pizza in a Totem Lake, ask for Daiya, not the soy cheese (contains casein). Nappakao and Mongolian Grill in Juanita. Mongolian will use separate tongs, just ask. Mediterranean Kitchen in Totem Lake. Garlic Jim's thin crust + Daiya cheese (take out). Santa Fe, like you mentioned. The Mexican place in Juanita Village has options and an awesome salsa bar. Cactus in Kirkland and Bell Square. Boom noodle & Blue C Sushi, Bell Square. Red Robin has Boca burgers. They will show you their vegan menu. Their BBQ sauce has anchovies, so watch for those pitfalls. Homegrown in Kirkland, Redmond and Bellevue (where Habitat was near Tap House). Tofu can be subbed for any meat and all dressings are vegan. Watercress near Marina Park, and cafe happy (tiny seating area). Mediterranean Kitchen in Bellevue is nice, too. All are family friendly. Perhaps a catered event at an unusual venue? Oddly, (not so odd if you know Dr Potchen). The MSU radiology building has a beautiful space. Tables and chairs would need to be rented, and meal would need to be catered but the surrounding grounds are quite nice. A koi pond and beautiful gardens could enhance the celebration if it were to take place in the spring or summer.

Red Cedar Grill in Williamston! I have worked there for two years and it's very popular for events like this. We have a semi-private back room too.

They had great pizza there! Many soccer and softball team parties there. They are up there with Pizza Bank and Sparta's.

Wow! I thought Dan & Dave's was the only pizza place near Juanita Beach? We were the last owners of Pizza Works up on Finn Hill that started out as a Take and Bake at Cottage Lake and then had a second location in Kenmore on Simonds Road & Juanita DR until it moved to the top oh the hill, I would be fascinated to know some of the history of an earlier Pizza Works in Juanita.
