Bit of a long shot but does anyone know of a good stop-over that will take dogs? Approx half way. Moving up from Cambridge in April in two slow vehicles so will need to...
Rebecca G. replied:
£20 charge at travelodge for a dog but they all accept dogs. Highly recommend travelodge as cheap and reliable and as someone says they have cctv in the car parks and you can frequently see your vehicle from your room. Broxden Junction at Perth is one I regularly use when travelling back to Suffolk.

Does anyone know of any apartments in Edinburgh city centre for holiday let? Would be for 6 days in July? Thinking this may be cheaper than hotels or b&bs?
Clair I. replied:
We stayed in Edinburgh Central Apartments in July last year on Home Street (you can walk to Haymarket, Lothian Road and The Meadows easily from there) and it was basic but good. There were 5 adults, a 3 year old and 1.5 year old staying there. It's not five star luxury but it really did the job and was much easier then staying in a hotel etc!:)
