I am finally setting up my FB business page. I welcome suggestions for the name. Leslie Gilmore, Outer Banks Real Estate Broker or Outer Banks Real Estate with Leslie....

Leslie Gilmore.com is my site. Real Estate Services for the Outer Banks Investor is my tag line. I'm not sure how people search for agents on FB.

Be sure to study up on Facebook's news feed algorithm so you can hopefully avoid the trap that the vast majority of business pages fall into -- no one ever seeing them. This is a pretty good overview: http://marketingland.com/edgerank-is-dead-facebooks-news-feed-algorithm-now-has-close-to-100 k-weight-factors-55908

Greg Lyles makes a good point. though I personally stay away from sidebar ads, I prefer the ads that run in stream, because they show up on mobile and desktop.

Since it's an investor-oriented page, make it more about the market, the risks, the rental seasons, tips on coastal maintenance, tax implications of ownership, financing, etc. Then if you have a blog, post snippets of your posts to your FB page with links back to your blog. Also, create a custom landing page where you offer items of value for free to your fans, such as list of the best deals in rental units for sale, a directory of local service providers (great for absentee owners), winterizing tips, etc. You could also put together a weekly investor email with an assortment of beneficial information for investors. Have an opt-in form to get these items and advertise it to people who like related Outer Bank pages.
