Hi. Just received devastating news about our holidays planned for Easter and Christmas. Can anyone recommend somewhere that is quiet, restful, self-catering, enough...

Wildebraam Berry Farm in Swellendam. Cottages on a working berry farm. Very peaceful. We stay in the Berry Cottage but i would recommend the Hermitage house which will easily accommodate the size of your group. Take carrots and apples with to feed the horses:)
Blommekloof Guest Farm in Leeukloof near Ruiterbos (in the Mossel Bay district) http://www.blommekloof.co.za/

Klondyke Cherry farm. We booked the Farmhouse and the Duck pond cottage (which are right next to each and share access to a pond and separate from everything else). Dogs also welcome. Big fireplace for winter stays and a little dam and lovely grass area for summer stays. Walks through the orchards or lazing on the grass under the trees. http://www.cherryfarm.co.za/accommodation/
