I have a two year old shitzu that needs desexing. I am on the pension and can't afford much. Does anyone know of an affordable vet or maybe a vet that does payment plan....
Sue V. replied:
Challenger vet have a thing they use called vetpay. You can look up vetpay and apply for it first before you go to the vet. Basically it's a payment plan over a certain amount of time and you qualify for only a certain amount. Kinda a line of credit.
Sandy C. replied:
The interest rate is quite high though with vet pay.. Hanlys vet are the cheapest but are in Maddington
Carly W. replied:
Yep, Hanley Vet are awesome

Kwinana vet is amazing!! I love them prefer them over challenger!! Challenger were rude and pretty much not interested in helping me with questions I had..
Glenda R. replied:
Baldivis Vet - I always go and see Neal Loh there. He is one of the best vets (if not the best) I've ever been to. Also, Miguel Ettema (mobile vet) but Miguel doesn't do surgery. Stay away from Kwinana Vet. I'm not talking about Challenger. The other one. I've had major issues there and have heard of many others having the same.

Challenger Vet
Suzanne K. replied:
Challenger vet definitely A1
Fiona K. replied:
Everyone has different experiences with everything. One person may find Kwinana Vets the worst ever and the next may find them excellent. We personally prefer Baldivis as they react best to our dog aggressive girl. But Ive heard others haven't found them so great.
Caroline A. replied:
I've never had a bad experience at Malibu Vets in Safety Bay, that's where our boy had his vacs so we have always gone back. Since we live in Kwinana we do use Challenger for emergencies and they have always been great too:) I haven't had a good experience at any of the 3 times I went to Kwinana Vets so I won't recommend them to anyone.
Chantel J. replied:
Never had an issue with Kwinana Vet.

Yvonne V. replied:
Hanly vet, desex is about $165. Highly recommend them. Hanly keep their prices low so everyone can afford to desex. "The Hanly Vet team have been committed to saving the lives of animals for more than 40 years and as a member of the National Desexing Network they are committed to offering sterilisation at an affordable price".........Desex cost at most vets goes on weight and sex, ring around.
Can anyone tell me how much it will cost to get my cat Desexed an Microchipped an which is the cheapest Vet? Thankyou
Nicole M. replied:
Try Malibu vets they were really cheap when we got our dog done. They have a deal on get your animal desexed and get free microchip.
