It wasn't a scolding. I see that all the time on here and no, not all of them posted before Ola. Tia Hurley, this came in as I was posting this and no, they could not refer me to someone else in the office. I hope Erin E Davis has much better luck and I hope her friend gets him - he is good! I have known him since he began practice and I wasn't sure he was going to make it at times - but he did - and he is one very good lawyer!

Working in a nursing home, I have worked with Bill Green (Valpo), Cynthia Hedge, and Bill Elliott. As others have said, Bill Elliott is just sticking with the nursing homes. Brad Adamsky has been taking all of my new referrals. What is nice with his office, he does not charge up front, but can bill you for services.

PLEASE help as I'm not so...

If your battle is in Kentucky then you should be looking for a Kentucky Attorney. Also you're looking for an Attorney that will fight essentially "City Hall" which most will not do. They are not going to jeopardize their relationships with people they must work with all the time for just one client. This isn't like television and Dusty is right, you must know the relationship your Attorney has with Judges and others in the Court system before considering their hire. Lastly, the type of Attorney you're looking for isn't a paper pusher which most of those mentioned here are. I've worked with practically all of those mentioned and they're good at charging and passing paper. The last bulldog Attorney we hired cost us $450 an hour, $10k retainer and by the time the case was settled we were $35k poorer. He was the Attorney that put Mike Tyson in jail while working as a DA. Last we heard he was working for Barnes and Thornburg. We got what we wanted but not without a serious price tag. Good luck but you should exhaust all public remedies before going into debt.
