In my humble opinion as someone with a number of large pieces, it totally depends on what you want. Some are better at black and grey, some are excellent with Japanese themed ink. If you want a great tattoo first decide what you want and then do the leg work of actually going into shops, looking at any portfolios the artists have, and finally speak to them personally once you have it narrowed down. There is no point going to someone who does/prefers to do excellent Gothic tattoos and asking for a Betty Boop tattoo. If they like what they are drawing you will get a superb tattoo...bottom line they are human too. It pays to go to the best nomatter the cost. Having ink you are proud of is priceless.

I have been going to classic for over 10 years and have been tattooed 22 times from there. There are many great artists there that do a variety of styles. The shop is extremely clean and professional
