Rush ortho is ranked top 5 in the country. Their group is called Midwest orthopedics. Hell, bush flew all the way up here from Texas to have is knee done.

Based on personal experience with a spectacular leg injury and long term followup care that has emphasized therapy and exercise as opposed to more surgery. [Dr. Guelich](http://chiorthosports.com/physicians/) was good for my fiance's knee surgery last Nov. He's an active guy himself and is clear about not only getting you back to a point of walking around comfortably, but doing all of the crazy outdoors stuff that you were used to before the injury happened.

Rush did my elbow tendon. They are the team surgeons for the Bulls and white sox probably your best bet. Super fast service too I hardly waited at all.

John Hefferon did my husband's knee replacement (turned out amazing) and his credentials are pretty awesome. Notably he operated on Frank the Gorilla and treated a host of NBA players, Michael Jordan being one of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_A._Hefferon
