Portland OR rabbit owners I’m looking for a vet or clinic that can neuter my male rabbit for a reasonable price in the Portland area! Any suggestions would be awesome!

Find a local bunny rescue on google (like House Rabbit Society chapter) and give them a call or email, letting them know you adopted a bunny, to ask for vet recommendations. They’ll only be too happy to help as they neuter all their bunnies and have lots of experience with vets. :) They often will even have suggestions right on their website if you look.
Also while cost is an option, low cost is not always the best. Be sure the vet is firstly a good vet with extensive experience with rabbits and neutering/spaying. You would not want publications to cost more than the surgery and a good vet is a key to success. :) Plus you can hopefully retain this vet as your main vet (always good to have one before you need on in a pinch).

Also wanted to give a shoutout to Compass Veterinary Clinic - extremely savvy and skilled rabbit vets, incredibly kind and helpful, and also the best pricing on spay/neuter I have found anywhere. I like to recommend them whenever I can because they've been so wonderful to me and my bunnies.

Been taking my dogs to VCA North Portland (off of Lombard) for 5 years now and have always been met with a friendly and courteous staff, knowledgeable and professional doctors, and the utmost compassion when I had a cat put down there a few years ago. Highly recommended.

I used to take my pets to Powell Veterinary Center on Powell (A little further South), they were great and I still love them but both my pets are older now so they're on Hannah the Pet Society plans. It's more cost effective with their medical needs.

I actually go to Vancouver for vet care. It's far and away cheaper as vets aren't paying for premium real estate plus the prestige of being in the big city and you get just as good if not better health care due to the simple fact that vets in Vancouver serves a less densely populated area. I go to Animal Care Clinic on 112 th. Literally 5 minutes off the mill plain east exit. You take a left turn at the Checklov/Mill Plain light and go north about 1/2 a mile. Their vaccs are hover around the $20-25 mark while Heartfelt vet wanted $30-35 and the the office visits are about $10 cheaper. Seriously, if you don't have to go to the vet that often it's really the way to go.

Not snarking at all, but if you search 'vet recommendation', this topic has been discussed many times over the years. Might want to give that a look so you have a wide array of answers. My rec would be Laurelhurst. I've been taking my pets there for for about 15 years. No complaints.

Mt. Tabor Vet Care! Our whippet has been there probably a dozen times in her two years of life (I know), and she still LOVES going in. The examination rooms have couches and feel more like a living room than a scary office, and they treat her SO well-- getting a shot? Bowl of peanut butter. Need her to swallow liquid? Cover the syringe in cheese. Groggy from surgery? All the cuddles. They're the best. And while they're not super cheap, they're very upfront about what all your options are, how much each option will cost, and how much is overkill.

I take my dogs to a vet with "you killed my dog!" reviews and think they have great service.

We have used Laurelwood Vet on NE Sandy and about 30 th (Across from the Les Schwabe and next door to STEAM) for the past 20 years. Previous owner sold to VCA but the service quality only increased.

I take my cats to Rose City Vet and love it there. They see Dr. Jose Martin and he's great. Very gentle and thorough. One of my cats has had some traumatic vet experiences (very necessary emergency treatment, he now hates vets and having the affected area touched by vets) and Dr. Martin is very kind to him during exams - takes things very slowly, has me assist in holding kitty to keep him calm, etc. For emergency vet needs, I cannot recommend Tanasbourne Veterinary ER enough. I know it's a drive, but they are MUCH cheaper than Dove Lewis (also great, but very very expensive - they do charity work and your bills help pay for that, which is awesome, but I can't afford it). I've found that the vets at TVER are very straightforward and no-nonsense, which I love. They just want to help your animal as quick as they can. Their cost estimates were always spot on and pleasantly cheap. A surgery that Dove Lewis quoted me $3000-4000 for (I got ~15 other quotes from clinics throughout the metro area for $2500-6000) was only $1200 at TVER, performed by Dr. Thomas, who opened/owns the clinic. He did an incredible job and took great care of both the kitty and me (regularly calling me himself to update, etc.) Dr. Thomas also handled my aunt and uncles' dog's allergic reaction to a bee sting, and their review of him was also glowing.

My family always went to the Cat Clinic in Lake Oswego! They only take cats, so that way they don't get stressed out with barking:)

I use "At Home Veterinarian" They do House-calls for vet appts. A tech and a veterinarian show up at your house with their equipment and do all the checks there. Pet gets to be in a familiar place, and I get to just chill at home until they arrive. Phone: (503) 281-1631
