Doctor recommendations? I have tried to google this stuff but it seems difficult to get any information. Is there a doctor that anyone can recommend in Monmouth County?...

In person doctors are not needed, and are typically more expensive. Also, they often require you to "establish a relationship" with them first, meaning routine visits for several quarters *before* giving you the script. They often only give 3-6 month scripts too, so you have to spend more money and time to see them more frequently. The online Docs give you a 1-year script on your first visit. Here's a quick run down of what to do to join the NJ MMP without an in-person Doctor:
1) See an online doc at Veriheal or CannaDocs or QuickMedCards.com. About $150-$200 for the appointment, guaranteed approval, and they give you a script that lasts for 1 year. Just give brief answers to their questions during the appointment, no lengthy explanations are needed or wanted. They will prescribe up to 3 oz per month. You may get a higher amount if you say that you need more to bake it, or say multiple ailments on the approved list. **NO** backup needs to be provided for ailments and you will not be asked for it. They should essentially instantly send your approval info to the state and e-mail you the script info etc.
2) Go to the NJ MMP site as soon as possible, upload the required docs (photo of your DL, selfie, utility bill, etc). Get your documents prepped before hand. **Address needs to match on everything.** What you need is [listed here](https://njmmp.nj.gov/njmmp/jsp/patientRegProcess.jsp). Some people have issues uploading PDFs, so you may want to take screenshots and upload the JPG/PNG files instead of PDFs.
3) About 3-4 weeks after you upload everything to the state they will send you a link to pay them $100 for the card, and after you pay the card should come in a few days. This part was supposedly faster pre-Corona, so it may get a bit faster eventually.
4) With the card, you can go to any dispensary, but you have to designate one at a time. You can change it instantly online, or a new ATC will just change it for you. To some extent this selection is meaningless now. Some have online ordering now, but first time patients may need a consultation first. Call them to check it out.
5) Your script needs to be renewed every year (i.e. see an online doctor again), and the card needs to be renewed every 2 years with the state.
