Renting motorbikes is no problems. Here is a good guesthouse, western style and comfort but in the malay kampung (area) 5 mins walk to main road and beach (Pentai Cenang beach) https://abnb.me/EVmg/MF1 iC48 xRJ. I will help you out with all the questions you have. (For the guests it's free). I have been living in Langkawi for 4 years and know my way around.

Hi Carol. We are here at the moment at a fabulous place called The Chantique Hotel which we love. In fact this is our 4 th year in a row. Impeccably clean with the most amazingly friendly staff. Definitely a place to consider. We own a b & b in Newquay, Cornwall so you could say we know a good place when we see it.
