I know a man off off stern rd. Have not been in that area in 3 years. He has no elec. water or windows and doors in the trailer he lives in. Most of his dogs are black and they have litter after litter. He feeds them as tho they were chickens, There are tons of them, I am wondering if the dog you have there could have left his yard. Many times they dont eat. Dont know if animal control ever went there, but when i saw the situation, i cried, and wonder what ever happened, I can almost bet, nothing has changed. I feel so bad for them, some would die, none are vaccinated and plain hungry, cold and thirsty. God Bless you for not taking her to the pound. But i wish she had her pups. Yes, her name is Dr. Carter.

Solano animal clinic. Dr Craig. Very reasonable. She will tell what absolutely needs to be done and she understands if you don't have a fortune to spend. She also does eastern medicine. I love that she offers herbal remedies. She also does acupuncture. Been going there for years with all my dogs, cats and ferrets.

I had to get my Old Man Bear's eyes taken out, places were gonna charge me over 3K for it, they did it for less then a thousand. Staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. Jornada veterinary clinic Dr. Nancy Soules is very compassionate, knowledgeable, and affordable. Her whole team is amazing. They even offer walk-in services.

Animal Hospital of Las Cruces has amazing doctors for routine use. If you anticipate after-hours visits, Schumacher on Valley is the only one who does those--all the others will send you to the Emergency Vet on Wyatt and my experience with them has been horrible. DO NOT use Jornada--they are horrible, have LOST a dog in their care for surgery (as in, out searching the surrounding streets for the dog that got loose from them!) and have had many horrible stories going around about them. Calista is good, but will charge an office visit every time, even for routine shots.

I have gone to the emergency er..thry are good but VERY EXPENSIVE...schumacker is a good vet...but Animal hospital has been very good with emergencies and diagnoses with my 5 animals and the ferrets I had.

Dr. Jodi Kincaid at Anthony Animal Clinic is the least expensive veterinarian in the area. If your dog needs surgery, he charges about 1/2 of what other clinics charge. He also takes the Dona Ana County Animal Relief Fund Vouchers.

Animal Hospital or Schumacher (their after hours fee is still better than the emergency vet on Wyatt)--have had terrible experiences with the emergency vet and Jornada!!!

Dr Schumacher comes to Hatch the first Thursday of each month. Call and ask then to stop by.

Have you tried East Lohman Veterinary Clinic? They are good about getting appointments in. This time of year a lot of people are going on vacation, so in clinics with only 1 or 2 doctor, it shifts the burden to the veterinarian on duty so sometimes they can't get you in.

Dr. Carver does low cost vaccinations and there's always clinics around. Jornada is only $50 for all adult vaccinations that are required every year.

Check with Tractor supply. They often have a clinic there

Jornada Vet is having their vaccine clinic this Saturday 21 st. Cost vary for different vaccines but you can get all. During the clinics they look really busy but go fast.
