I live here and my go-to has always been the Aquarius. Sarah Correll has made a pretty accurate assessment above.

Aquarius. Rooms are nice and the casino doesn't smother you. High ceilings and roomy. Cafe has terrific food...never had a bad meal there, buffet is decent, there's an Outback and The Vineyard (fine dining) is super. There's also a McDonald's, Subway, Dreyer's, Panda Express, Duet's and The Cove, in addition to a workout facility. The new pool should be done, too. Geez, I sound like a freakin' commercial, but the other hotels are a bit long in the tooth, in my opinion.

The Laughlin River Lodge (formerly River Palms) has all new bedding and rooms have been remodeled with new ownership.
