I've had work done at Anchor Ink and it's always been great. All my friends get there's done there as well and I've never seen a bad job done.
Jwalk24 replied:
Yellow Rose is where I have had mind done at and everyone is amazing. Gailon does all mine but anyone there is talented. My friends have has work done at Good Times, ONI, Big Deluxe, and Cathedral. I would recommend any of those. Go down to a few, meet the artists if you can, get a feel for the place, and look at some of their work. Some of the more established artists don't really have portfolios they rely on their reputation because they have been doing it so long. Ultimately you have to get good vibes from the artist and shop because you will spend a lot of time and money there so make sure it's a place you enjoy.

CJ at Cathedral. Amazing with shading and blacks. Very unique style.

Craig at the Iron Clad did mine. He is really great. I suggest to just go check out their site and see some of his work.

Depends on what kind of style you are looking for, but Jake at SLC Inc. He usually is booked out six months or more, but everything I have seen from him is amazing, mine included. It's worth the wait.

1 st- 27 Tattoo 2 nd- Big Deluxe 3 rd- GoodTimes Depends on what type of style you're looking for. My artist is R2 at 27 Tattoo. I personally have a full sleeve with a lot of color, traditional style and various scenes. My artist (R2) does a lot of color/greyscale/ scifi fantasy fun nerdy stuff. Not so much portrait. My good friend that also works at the same shop is Pat. He does great realistic/portrait/and full scene work. He takes his time and is very detailed and intricate in his work. So by far I would say 27 Tattoo. Keep in mind this is a studio of artists and you pay for what you get. Jenner's two cents.
Reinasrevenge replied:
I would definitely recommend either 27 or Good Times. Any artist at either will do an incredible job.
Kind_of_Hippy replied:
The last one I got was from Christina at [Lucky Bamboo Tattoo.](http://www.luckybambootattoo.com/) She's way badass with color, if that's what you're looking for. It's in Layton, though, so it may be a bit of a drive.

It really depends on what kind of art you're looking to have on you. If you're looking for the more macabre, you want to look at Greg over at Oni. You're gonna have to book well in advance (2-3 months), but if you're gonna have something on you for life, get it from the best.
Can someone recommend a really good tattoo shop or someone who does good tattoos (not looking for someone who does them from their house, must be in a shop)
