[Biscari Brothes](https://www.biscaribrothersbicycles.com/) Is a good one if you are near Liberty or Independence Ave. they also own peddlers on the square in independence.

Bike America is having some kind of spring special on service. I took my wife’s bike in for a tuneup last week and it was half price. I’m not sure if this only applies to certain services, and also not sure how long this special is going on, but give them a call. The location I go to is the 95 th and Nall one but they’re in Lee’s Summit as well. This won’t help you right now but I took a derailleur class at REI last week and it was tremendously informative. It’s a small class size (3 people) and you learn how to do all of these adjustments on your own bike. $40 for the class though it may be more expensive if you’re not an REI member, I thought it was definitely worth it.

Single speeds are more fun. Less gears, more beers. Here's good info on doing the conversion yourself: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/singlespeed.htmlhttps://www.singletracks.com/blog/mtb-repair/how-to-convert-your-mountain-bike-to-a-singlespeed/
