Patisserie Valerie is mass produced & often cakes are frozen not fresh unfortunately, as lovely as they look. I much prefer a home baked cake! I feel we have shortage of such tea rooms in cross gates. There's a diamond of a tea shop in cross green, of all places! It's magical. Not at all what u expect to find, lovestorm! Try it honestly, u won't be disappointed. They have a page on here if u search u can see some of the wonderful creations x

I love Mrs Gales near Roundhay Park. Great scones and cakes, quite reasonably priced, a bit quirky and really lovely staff.
