Does anyone know if a chiropractor can help a pinched nerve causing sciatica ?
Kathy C. replied:
There is a Chiropractor I have been taking a former client to in Tavares on 441 near FHW. Dr Buehler (Jason not Ferris) 483-7525 call him on Mon and ask. You would also need to know what insurances he takes and if your new ins through work covers chiropractors.
Kathy C. replied:
There is also a Chiropractic Clinic at 2701 Kurt in Eustis 357-1122. Another thought is Physical-Occupational Rehabilitative Medicine Dr Maiello 914 E Dixie Leesburg 365-9553. He would do an assessment and be able to set you on the right course which might be some PT.

Dr. David Kuhn is on 441 north 13903 Suite A. Lady Lake . 352 753 0555 . I have been going to him for over a year off and on when my back or hip are bothering me. I love him. He is at that office on Tues and Thurs. 8-2. He has another office in Wildwood which is open M. W. And F.
Looking for a good chiropractor who doesn't require an exam & xrays first.
Karen M. replied:
Dr David Kuhn...2 offices...Wildwood and on 441 by Walmart
Elizabeth S. replied:
A good chiropractor will NEED to do an exam first to allow them to review your medical history and current symptoms. X-rays are recommended on a case by case basis, but a good chiropractor will discuss the need for them. This doesn't mean some won't adjustment on the first day. I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Glover with Glover Chiropractic Clinic in Leesburg.
Elizabeth S. replied:
Dr. Glover is a Palmer graduate. Our initial exam & treatment is $45 (we also take most insurances, so it may be less than that) x-rays would be $20 - if needed and you will receive any therapies and adjustment you need on your initial visit.

By the way, Dr Bissett is a Chiropractor. Thanks again.
Patricia V. replied:
Compton Chiropractors are excellent. The son is a Chiropractor and is also going to Med school for his MD. Excellent care and not pushy. Also doesn’t try to keep you coming back when not needed.
To ease the pain of a pulled neck/trap muscle, would you recommend a massage therapist or a chiropractor? I've never done either, but the pain won't go away.
Crystal G. replied:
Massage therapy first! Misty Mahoy at wise chiropractic in my Dora is AMAZING and can even give you a sports wrap afterwards that keeps massaging until it is healed!
