Andrew Stemerman Was simply joking that it was hard to find someone to DO windows.....as in WASH my windows. Love my windows! Thanks though!!
First, thank you to those that responded to a recent post of mine re: recommended doctors (internists). This request is a little different: we have a dog, and as such...
Linda M. replied:
The best very around is Leigh McBride at Sumter County Vet. While she is a sole practitioner she is the best. Breeders come from all over the state to see her. I used to drive 3 hours until we moved to TV. She is the best!

Dr. Tim Porter in Wildwood in the shopping center. Have gone to him for the last 12 years. No fancy office, just two vet techs and a receptionist. His phone is 352-748-6348. We love him and his staff.

Can anyone recommend a good affordable vet in the Eustis area? No longer in Leesburg so don't really want to drive to the one on 441.
Nicole F. replied:
Lake Vet is cheap but you have to give up a whole day to go there. AMC is just amazing. I love Dr Wilson. We've been going since they opened. Well worth the few extra bucks.
Anne-Marie H. replied:
Lake vet is cheap, but you sit there for hours. I've waited 3-4 hours. That's 3-4 hours you've exposed your pet to dozens of sick animals. My time is worth something too! Switched to Dr Tracy Wilson. I love her.
Susan S. replied:
Lake Vet on 19A near Eudora. 4 vets on staff. They take their time with you and are very caring. Great staff also.

I'd recommend Lake Veterinary Clinic. The staff is excellent. Like a previous poster suggested, get there early.
Daniele C. replied:
Lake Vet no office visit fees!!!
Debi B. replied:
The problem with Lake Vet is they see so many people in a day, they don't remember you or your pet the next time you go in. AMC not only remembers you, but always remembers your pet and has treats in their hands for them!
Daniele C. replied:
Yes they do!!! I've been going there for 24 yrs!!! & if you gotta pay a huge office visits fee for them to remind you..well there ya go. Dr. Pryor is the best..
Debi B. replied:
Yes, she is the best. Animal Medical Center. Dr. Tracie Wilson. On 19 north heading out of town on the right before Pugs Pub.
Jamie A. replied:
AMC, animal medical center. Tracey Wilson is the vet. Open on Saturday until noon too. She's worth her price.
Adam G. replied:
Lake Veterinary Clinic is good, but you could wait in line for a long time. We now go to Animal Medical Clinic in Eustis, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Animal-Medical-Center/110401515737172

Can someone please recommend a veterinarian. Our 6 yr old cat was recently diagnosed with thyroid disease... Would like a second opinion. Thanks

We have been using Country Oaks Veterinarian for 10 yrs now. We request Dr Cummings. Located on 441 N across from Del Webb Spruce Creek just North on the traffic light on the South bound side.
Sharon B. replied:
We went to Country Oaks for 10 years with our basset and they helped us through cancer surgery at U of Fla, chemo, arthritis, through all. Will always be grateful and thankful to all there. Dr. Merritt at Lady Lake Animal Clinic is an avian specialist (she sees our parrot) but also other animals. But I'd go somewhere where there are backup vets in the practice. We're thinking of going to Buffalo Ridge because they also have the 24/7 urgent care......... like that because all the records, etc. would be there if needed.

It is time to help our sweet dog move on. She has been battling cancer for a while and is noe experiencing a lot of pain. Can anyone please recommend a vet service in...
Tina S. replied:
I am not familiar with any traveling vets but Dr Cassidy in Eustis is wonderful. They won't overcharge you either. We recently lost a kitty, it was sudden so we didn't expect it. Dr C even made a casting of her paw print for us to have. She and the tech were incredibly sensitive to us and what we were going through. I would highly recommend her. I'm sorry about your baby. Rest in peace sweet baby ♡
