So, I foresee me spending a lot of time in Lafayette in the near future. Can anyone recommend some good restaurants, hotels, shopping, etc?
TIA

River Ranch is like a city within the city. It's AMAZING!! SO much shopping and food!! If you want a poboy, Olde Tyme Grocery on St Mary is the place to go!!! The Blue Dog cafe is good. Cheddars is good. Prejeans is overrated in my opinion...and overpriced. The best sushi/hibachi I had is in Shinto Japanese restaurant on Ambassador Caffery Pkwy.... omg Jaymie, SO many places to name..... awesome burgers are found in The Ground Patti on Kaliste Saloom. Indian food at Masala Indian Kitchen. The list goes on.....

River ranch has fun shopping.
