Will it not turn on at all when you flip the switch off and on again? If so, it's not the filter. If it does start up and then stop, run it without the filter until someone can look at it. Rex Pinnell with Absolute Air is my guy:801-636-0123

Paul Hall Plumbing heating and air. 801 636 3333. If it tries to lighy but goes out then it is most likley the flame sensor. If you open the top of the furnance turn on the switch and look for the glow igniter on the same level opposite end you will see the sensor held in by one screw. Carefully remove it, looks like a wire that bends up at 90 degree. Take a piece of fine sand paper and clean the gray soot then wothout touching the wire reinstall it. Turn on the switch and if it stays lit job is done. You cam google cleaing the flame sensor in gas furnance.
