I highly recommend Karen at The Salon within the Xcite sports centre in Bathgate. Karen has worked in a few of the Linlithgow salons and used to own Lime at the Cross. Until recently she also taught hairdressing so she really knows her stuff. I know it's not Linlithgow but absolutely worth the 10 minute drive over to Bathgate. 01506 239430.

I'd highly recommend Chakirs - excellent stylists and they use Paul Mitchell products, which are 100% cruelty free and don't contain any animal products.

Check out Professional Hair Styling by Kim Hogg on FB to see what Kim can do. Couldn't recommend her enough. Awesome at colour too and lifts my hair using a high lift tiny when I've asked her to.

Definitely Cross Cuts. Have had my hair done by Leona, Karen and Michelle. And been more than happy with all three of them. I too have tried pretty much everywhere else, and nothing has come close. I've also seen them do some pretty swanky cuts Marlous Lang-Peterse so they'd be more than up to a complicated hairdo
