Same here. But know that the lint could be built up behind the dryer (inside) which means unscrewing the back panel. We just did this with the dryer in our rental last week and it fixed it right away. If you want an expert to check your heat element or clean it out professionally, I highly recommend Complete Appliance Repair(303-904-8888). They give you a one hour window for service so you're not waiting around all day and are reasonably priced. Otto came to our rental and was great. Check them out on Yelp. All great reviews.
