I went to that site and I must say Sandra you are a bit ruff to say the least. This was Janet's experience and she was not taking her animal to "be killed" as you so coldly put it. It is a difficult choice to make let your elderly sick animal suffer or be compassionate and put it to sleep. How can you say those things about someone's experience when you were not there to witness? Everyone needs to step away!! I am sure Mike Lazano has made his choice after several suggestions lets just drop it all please

I like Dr. Golla at CTV -- he's a very good vet. But with 4 large dogs, 10 cats, and ~30 sheep we simply couldn't afford him. Plus it's much easier on humans AND animals to have the vet come to you.

I really love Williams-Sebby Vet Clinic in San Marcos. Excellent care at affordable prices. I have been using them for years for all of my animals. They handle all sizes, large and small. 512-396-1996. They are basically at Hunter Rd and Posey Rd. Very worth the drive!!!

We went to Chisholm Trail for years. They were fine. But I like Dr. Huddleston. And yes his fees are drastically less. My cat had minor surgery and spent the night. His bill was $99. I'm sure that wherever you call, they will take good care of your dog.

We used to drive all the way to shiner because we received better care and it was way less expensive, even with hauling the gooseneck trailer with fuel costs. We have completely changed to on call vet now.

PLEASE check other area shelters before you purchase, Williamson county regional animal shelter has a facebook page. The San Marcos shelter is on River Rd. Just west of the intersection of HWY 80 (by the light by Walmart.) Shelters almost always have full-blooded animals that have been abandoned or strayed.
